AC Milan scouts are in France to follow Ligue 1 starlet Eduardo Camavinga. The 17-year-old midfielder is already a regular starter with Rennes.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – Not being able to make large investments due to budgetary problems, AC Milan must make a good job in talent scouting. The Rossoneri are relentless in this aspect and Eduardo Camavinga is the new target of Geoffrey Moncada.

The Rososneri head scout, who is always on the move to identify the best prospects with potential to become future stars, is impressed by the qualities of the Rennes starlet. Camavinga set a new debut record for Rennes making his professional appearance last season on April but has yet to turn 17.

Camavinga’s primary position is defensive midfielder but he also plays as central midfielder. He could become a classy box-to-box destroyer in the future. Despite being barely 17 years old he made 7 appearances leas season. While this year, coach Julien Stephan, has used Camavinga from the first minute in all five games of Rennes. The youngster is clearly destined for great things in the future.

Calciomercato.com reports that AC Milan scouts will be in France today to watch him from close in Brest vs Rennes. Once again the Angolan should start the match from the first minute. Camavinga made headlines at the beginning of the season when he inspired his side to a shocking victory over PSG in a match where he misplaced just one pass.

This summer AC Milan invested a lot in young players. Besides the six signings of the first team that are all under 25, the Rossoneri reinforced the Primavera squad with promising names like Lenny Borges, Luan Capanni and Riad Tahar. Considering the hype surrounding the Ligue 1 prodigy, Milan could soon bring another talent at San Siro.
